The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal hit-and-run incident that occurred late last night in north Caddo, according to Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.

Preliminary investigations indicate that a male was walking along the side of the roadway in the 5500 block of North Market, near the Love Truck Stop, at approximately 10:20 PM when he was struck by a vehicle that subsequently fled the scene. Caddo Fire District 1 responded to the scene and pronounced the man deceased.
